The 12 Days of Pizza

Sean Covel, movie producer of Napoleon Dynamite and The 12 Dogs of Christmas, found a need in his South Dakota hometown two years ago. Several students in the local elementary school were not looking forward to the holiday break because they would be missing the hot school lunch they depended on each day.

Covel partnered with Pizza Ranch, and started the 12 Days of Pizza program, where 12 families from local Pizza Ranch communities get 12 meals over the 12 Days of Christmas break.

The Impact

In 2016, the program expanded to four cities, helping 48 families, and coupon redemption has been over 90%.

In 2017, 86 Pizza Ranch locations partnered with local businesses to join in on the spirit of the holidays by sponsoring '12 Days of Pizza' at local school(s) to donate over 14,000 meals to 1,180 families.

In 2018, 80 Pizza Ranch locations are partnering with local businesses and organizations to feed over 11,000 meals to families in need over the holiday season.

Our 2018 Sponsors

Thank you to all of the sponsors that helped fund the 12 Days of Pizza. Over 900 families will be fed over the holidays because of the financial contributions of the following Pizza Ranch restaurants and businesses.
