Pizza Ranch, the legendary buffet-dining concept known for its community leadership initiatives, announced today new ownership in Albert Lea, MN. Welcoming guests in an authentic ranch-themed environment, Pizza Ranch brings to life an experience that blends just the right mix of mouthwatering buffet menu items like pizzas, chicken, desserts and more, along with community engagement.

The Albert Lea restaurant’s new owners, Mike & Lisa De Boer, Brent & Denise Tjeerdsma and Ryan & Marcia Achterhoff come from the Pizza Ranch family. The De Boer’s and Tjeerdsma’s have owned and operated the Fairmont Pizza Ranch since opening it in June of 2007. The Achterhoff’s joined the De Boer’s and Tjeerdsma’s in 2009 and together they own locations in Stewartville, Mankato and Austin, MN; as well as Norfolk, NE. Ryan has been in leadership of corporate Pizza Ranch for over 17 years.

John and Trisha Tietje will be overseeing the management of the Albert Lea location. John has been the General Manager of the Austin, MN Pizza Ranch since the summer of 2013, and Trisha serves as a key assistant in operations.

The new ownership team has been working on remodeling the restaurant since taking over February 1. “We are refreshing the restaurant and updating the look & feel. We encourage folks to come in and see the new look!” shared Tietje. The Albert Lea restaurant will be re-opening in mid-February.
