Pizza Ranch, the legendary buffet-dining concept known for its community leadership initiatives, announced today they will reopen Monday March 25 in Garner, IA, under new ownership. Welcoming guests in an authentic ranch-themed environment, Pizza Ranch brings to life an experience that blends just the right mix of mouthwatering buffet menu items like pizzas, chicken, desserts and more, along with community engagement.

The Garner restaurant’s new owners, Lorrie Allen and Brett Pfaltzgraff come from the Pizza Ranch family. “Pizza Ranch was my first job,” said Pfaltzgraff. He started at the Ackley Pizza Ranch in January 2009, then joined the management team in Cedar Falls and Fort Dodge. After starting as the General Manager in 2014 at the Eldora Pizza Ranch, he became part owner and eventually fully purchased the Ranch in January 2018. “I’m looking forward to being involved in the community and meeting everyone. We will do our best to deliver a legendary experience for every visit!”

Lorrie has been with Pizza Ranch since February 2002. Allen shared, “I started at the Clarion Pizza Ranch as a shift manager.” She was promoted to General Manager, purchased shares in 2017 for the location, and fully purchased the restaurant in January 2018. She continued, “Brett and I shared the same former boss who was a great mentor! We look forward to serving the Garner community. It’s been overwhelming the welcome we have received so far. I hope that we can live out the Pizza Ranch mission by giving each guest a legendary experience!”

The new ownership team has been working on remodeling the restaurant since early September. “We have updated a few items, but it will be the same set up as before. We encourage folks to come in and see the new look, as we reopen on Monday March 25!” shared Allen. The Garner restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am-9pm, as well as from 11am-10pm on Friday and Saturday. Guests can enjoy the legendary buffet each day from 11am-1:30pm for lunch, and 5pm-7:30pm for dinner.
