Rock Valley Pizza Ranch under New Ownership

Pizza Ranch, the legendary buffet-dining concept known for its community leadership initiatives, announced today new ownership in Rock Valley, IA. Welcoming guests in an authentic ranch-themed environment, Pizza Ranch brings to life an experience that blends just the right mix of mouthwatering buffet menu items like pizzas, chicken, desserts and more, along with community engagement.
New owner, Clint Wolthuizen comes from the Pizza Ranch family. Clint shared, “My first job was at the Sheldon, IA Pizza Ranch when I was a sophomore in high school. It was a great first work experience.” Since then, Clint has taken other career paths, while a close friend and Pizza Ranch franchisee, Brad Cleveringa, has continually encouraged him to get back into the franchise. “The chance to purchase the Rock Valley restaurant came up, and I saw it as an entrepreneurial opportunity and a chance to get back into Pizza Ranch,” said Wolthuizen.
Clint and his wife Heidi, co-owners to the Rock Valley location, are looking forward to getting to know the community and local team.
“We are looking forward to digging into the business and running a quality restaurant that will allow us to reinvest in the community. We also see Rock Valley as a great place to raise a family, so we are looking forward to the opportunity of moving there within the next year and putting down roots,” said Wolthuizen.
Heidi and Clint have three kids: Rhett, 11 months, Ayla, 3 years, and Liam, 6 years. They continued, “We are looking forward to making the Rock Valley Pizza Ranch a family business, and we are excited to be part of such a great franchise. We firmly believe in the Pizza Ranch Vision of glorifying God by positively impacting the world.”
The new owners have plans to make changes over the next year. They share, “We’re going to take time to really get to know the business and what the guests want to see. In the meantime, we will be completing a remodel by April 2019, which will bring many positive changes to the store.” The changes start with providing an updated and comfortable dine-in experience, as well as making pick-up orders more efficient and convenient. “I believe people will be excited to see the new look, and we hope to partner the new look with great service from the employee team,” ended Wolthuizen.
The Rock Valley restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. Guests can enjoy the legendary buffet each day from 11am-1:30pm for lunch, and 5pm-7:30pm for dinner.
