Life will bring storms and challenges. There is no way around it. That is what it is. There will be tough times.

When the storms and challenges come, you want your foundation to be solid. In the book of Luke (Bible, New Testament), Jesus commands us to "build our house on the rock" so that when a flood came it would not destroy our house. But building our house on the ground without a foundation is destined for destruction when a storm or challenge in life comes our way.

Monday's Mission is to focus on building your house on the rock. Building your house meaning to build your life, your focus, your energy, your time around Jesus and His power and promises.

46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? 47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.[a] 49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”
