Key Verse:   "And whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law." — Romans 13:9b-10

Bottom Line: The gospel produces citizens who love God and love and serve others.

Main Points:

1. Christians Reflect Christ Through Respect and Integrity. Romans 13:1-7 

• Believers should be known for honesty and respect. 

2. The Debt We Never Finish Paying Is Love. Romans 13:8-10 

• We owe continual love to others. 
• Love fulfills God's commands. 
• Genuine love seeks another person's good. 

3. Wake Up and Live in the Light. Romans 13:11-14 

• The return of Christ should influence our priorities. He’s coming back soon.
• Put aside deeds of darkness. 
• "Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ" (v.14). 

Big Questions:  What defines the “Who” you/we are?  Am I/are we known for love?  Or are we known for something else like complaining, distracting, negative, gossip, angry, or needing to be right?  

May LOVE be what defines us.
