Monday Mission - Giving Thanks to God in All Things

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

In the hustle of daily life, it’s easy to reserve our gratitude for the “good days”- those moments when everything seems to be falling into place, when life is smooth- but what about the hard days? God doesn’t ask us to ignore our pain or pretend everything is fine. Instead, He invites us to trust him enough to say, “Thank You,” even when we don’t understand.

Giving thanks in all things means choosing to believe that God is still at work-still good, still present, still worthy of our praise. It’s a declaration of faith, not just a reaction to blessing.

Jesus gave thanks before the cross. Paul sang praise in prison.

“GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES; FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS FOR YOU.”

-1 Thessalonians 5:18

Prayer: Lord help me to give thanks today- not just for the good, but the difficult. Teach me to see your hand at work in every moment and trust your heart even when life feels uncertain. AMEN

Today’s challenge: The “Gratitude in all things”

1: Write down 3 things you’re thankful for today- one from something good, one from something hard, and one from something ordinary.

2: Pray a simple prayer of thanks- acknowledge God’s presence in each of those areas.

3: Encourage someone else- Text or message a friend and thank them for something they’ve brought into your life.

When you choose gratitude today, you’re planting a seed of faith. Let your thankfulness be a testimony- even in the tough moments.
