Monday Mission - Good Pans
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Are you in good pans?
One day, while working in the restaurant, one of our pizza cooks asked for my input on a couple pans of skillet dough. ‘Make them Cheesy Ranch Stix,’ I said. He later brought me a couple more pans. ‘Stix,’ was my reply once more. A third time, he presented skillet dough amongst the stack of others. ‘All Stix. All Stix, are you in good pans?’ (Read it again out loud if it didn’t quite land.)
Scripture tells us that we are in good hands. “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” (Deuteronomy 33:27)
No matter what happens, we can trust that God has us right where He’s placed us, right when He’s placed us, for His purpose. Trust His timing, His process, and His promises. Whatever comes our way in this new year, remember, you’re in good hands.
This week let’s put our thoughts of this year and our hopes for next year in God’s hands.
