So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

In the book of Galatians, we see Paul writing to a church that was once strong in its faith but had turned to the legalistic teachings of the Judaizers. Later, in Chapter 5, Paul exhorts this same church by asking a simple yet piercing question: “You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?” (Gal. 5:7).

One of the most destructive realities within a strong military force is something called “mission drift.” Mission drift occurs when external factors cause a team or organization to deviate from its main objective, resulting in inefficiency and a loss of focus on the primary goal.

As Christians, we too have been given a mission. That mission is found in Matthew 28:18–20 and is known as “The Great Commission.” As believers, we hold the cure to sin and death, and it should be our greatest desire and joy to share that cure with all who have ears to hear. Ask yourselves, what has been hindering you in our shared mission as believers? For the Galatians, it was false teaching; for you and me, it can be anything that distracts us from running the race of faith.

Stay focused Christian, and remember what we have been called to do, and let’s get back on mission.

NOTE: If you have a specific need for prayer...whether that is healing of a physical or mental health struggle, or a relationship that is damaged and hurting, or a reason to praise God and glorify Him...we would love to join with you on that prayer. Please send it to our confidential prayer team by clicking the link below. Thank you, and God bless.
