The book of John in the Bible is one of my favorites. It has so many stories of the life of Jesus. If you are new to reading the Bible, John is one of the best books to start with! In John 10:16, Jesus says, “‘And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.’”

Jesus being a shepherd to His sheep is a common metaphor in the Bible. Sheep know their shepherd’s voice, and they come to him. Jesus is the one true shepherd. We are all part of His flock. Everyone is called and has the opportunity to be a part of Jesus’ flock. As believers, it is our job to grow His flock. It should be our mission to share the gospel with others and continue to grow the flock in whatever way we can.

Jesus brings all sheep to His flock, all people of all races, ethnicities, and nations. Do what you can to help grow His flock!
