So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Wednesday Stories of Impact

Good morning all!

Hurricane Matthew 2Today I want to share with you an update regarding mission trips we take to Jamaica and about the relationships we have developed with our friends in Salt Marsh Trelawny, Jamaica!  We go once a year to assist our friends at Jacob’s Well Church and the Salt Marsh Schools we will be going this November.

Today as I write this I see a deadly hurricane roars toward Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba and the east coast! We pray for our friends in Jamaica and all those that are affected from that storm and by God’s grace the storm becomes a ge ntle breeze with lite rain! See a note from NBC News below!

Hurricane Matthew“Jamaica and south southwestern Haiti could get 10 to 15 inches of rain — with isolated areas getting possibly up to 25 inches — and that could cause flooding, the hurricane center added. The hurricane is expected to remain a powerful storm through Sunday.

Although Hurricane Matthew is forecast to turn toward Jamaica, the hurricane was about 80 miles north of Punta Gallinas, Colombia, and the tropical storm conditions are possible in parts of that country overnight, forecasters said.

In Haiti, which has been hard-hit by natural disasters in the past, officials said preparation efforts were focused in the south of the country.”
