The fourth Advent candle is the candle of Love. The Bible is the greatest love story ever written and the birth of Christ is a great display of God’s immeasurable love for us. John 3:16 summarizes this so well, “For God so loved the world that gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

As you celebrated Christmas yesterday with your loved ones, I hope you were able to take a moment to remember God’s love for you that was displayed through Christ’s birth and death on the cross. Salvation in Christ alone is the greatest gift one could ever receive.
