I hope you all enjoy today with friends and family and take a moment to appreciate the blessings we all share today.

A few Thanksgiving facts for today:

• The average guest count for Thanksgiving is ELEVEN guests.
• Statistically, stuffing (or dressing, depending on where you live) ranks as the number ONE choice of side dish, with green bean casserole ranking last.
• The first Thanksgiving celebration lasted THREE days.  Turkey was not served, but duck, swan, venison and goose were all on the menu.
• There were only FOUR women at the first Thanksgiving celebration.  In attendance were also 22 men and 25 children.  There were originally more women who made the voyage to America, but only 4 survived the first winter.
