Did you know that today is National Leon Day? I’m sure you’re wondering, “What on earth is Leon Day?” National Leon Day marks June 25 as six months away from Christmas day. Leon, spelled backward is Noel, marking the day creatives and crafters begin coordinating their gifts and decorations for the holiday season. These projects take planning and time. Great effort and intentionality are put into their designs; made especially for the people they love.

I’m sure we share the same response when given this information, “Ugh – Christmas, already? I don’t want to think about Christmas in June.” Please continue reading. I want to highlight a couple things each of us can carry in our hearts no matter the hour, the day, or the season: time and intentionality

How can we be generous with our time and intentionality to the world around us?

How can we position ourselves to give consecrated time and effort unto the Lord?

Great News! We can choose this now – we don’t have to wait until Christmas. In keeping with the theme, however, a favorite Christmas carol lyric and my prayer for today is this: “let every heart prepare Him room…”

NOTE: If you have a specific need for prayer...whether that is healing of a physical or mental health struggle, or a relationship that is damaged and hurting, or a reason to praise God and glorify Him...we would love to join with you on that prayer. Please send it into our confidential prayer team by clicking the link below. Thank you and God bless.
