The question for many people regarding heaven and Christianity is "how can I be saved? how can I go to heaven"? The answer is found in the book of Romans, among other places in Scripture. In the book of Romans, chapter 10 verse 9 it says, "9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Often, a follow up question is "So that is what I do. But HOW is this possible?"

The answer to that question is found in the Bible in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1 where it says, "3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you."

God did this FOR US, through His Son, Jesus Christ. But we also have a part to play and that is to confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus was raised from the dead.
