I was pondering recently on what it means to look like to be a "good Christian" in the sense of what can one do to show they love God. Partly it was because I had recently read the verse in the Bible (Romans 3:23) that talks about how I have sinned and fall short of God's glory. And the Bible of course goes on to tell us that it is through FAITH in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, because He has washed away our sins through His sacrifice for us on the cross. This is great news! It provides us with a bridge to get us from our situation (sinful, falling short) into eternity with God. 

So the two truths to remember today are: 

1. We have all sinned and fall short of God's glory.
2. God made a way to pick us up and make us right in His eyes. Not through actions or a "to do list". But through having true faith in His son Jesus Christ.
