Wednesday Stories of Impact - Jamaica Service Trip

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Wednesday Stories of Impact
Jamaica

Pizza Ranch’s annual service trip to Jamaica looked a little different this year. In late October, Jamaica was hit by Hurricane Melissa, a catastrophic storm. The group made the decision to go on the trip in November as originally planned, but their plans shifted to hurricane relief. Their mission was two-fold: Work and Ministry.

Work

  • Roof: They replaced some of the church and school roofs.
  • Pillars: They dug holes for pillars for a replacement awning and bent and tied rebar for said pillars.
  • Clean-up: They scrubbed the school/school furniture and transferred debris piles.

Ministry

  • They assembled care packages and passed them out, as well as some Bibles and snacks, to the church members and visitors at the Wednesday night service.
  • Kade Krosschell gave an evangelism seminar Wednesday afternoon and preached at the service that evening.

We are thankful that this group was able to make an impact during such a challenging time.
