Romans 8 declares the overall power of the gospel. When we give our lives to Jesus, here’s what happens:
- The Spirit of God comes in us, around us, and flows out of us. The same Spirit Jesus had. The one He left for us as a helper.
- The Spirit gives new life. We walk differently. Life is not self-powered—it’s Spirit-led.
- The Believers are no longer driven by fear or guilt. Yes, all have sinned, but “There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.”
- We are adopted as God’s children. God is for us, working for our good, and that nothing can separate us from His love.
May we all press into the fact that freedom is not found in trying harder, but in trusting deeper. I can’t, Lord. But You can!
