Monday Mission - Be Kindness
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Today is an important day in our country; we will see President Biden out of office and watch President Trump take an oath to protect our country. Some people that I know are so excited about this transfer of leadership and today has been the day that they’ve been waiting for. Some people that I know are heartbroken about this transfer of leadership and today has been the day that they’ve been dreading.
You know what both groups have in common? The potential to be kind. They can choose to be compassionate to those who feel the same and to those who feel the opposite.
Today, no matter how you view this historic event, be kind to those around you. Offer grace when you don’t feel like it or maybe someone doesn’t deserve it. Smile at someone you don’t know and be a light to them; see them in the moment. As the saying goes, it costs you zero dollars to be nice.
Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
