Monday Mission-Be the Light
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16
I love the challenge in this verse and how often the Bible makes reference to the word "light". In fact, the Bible uses the metaphor of light over 190 times — to represent truth, hope, guidance, and love. In a world that often feels heavy or dark, light doesn’t need permission to shine. It simply shows up and pushes back the darkness — one moment at a time.
This week's mission is to choose one intentional action that reflects light in your words, actions, and attitude.
Light can look like:
- Kindness when it's inconvenient
- Patience when it's undeserved
- Integrity when no one is watching
- Encouragement when someone is struggling
Let's be the light this week!
