Thursday Thought - Fear
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
We've heard that the Bible includes 365 references to "fear not", one for each day of the week. While the exact number is up for debate, we do know that God tells us many times to "fear not" or "don't be afraid".
It is, in fact, one of the most common commands in the Bible. Check out a few of these verses below:
"So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Matthew 10:31
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1: 9
