Tuesday Truth - Jesus is Always with Us

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

Do you ever feel like you’re alone? You may be in the middle of a crowd or actually physically alone, but both situations can leave us feeling alone or lonely. Maybe you’ve recently moved to a new town or started a new job and haven’t quite found your people yet. Or maybe you’re just a bit uncomfortable in your own skin for some reason.
The Truth is that as a Christian, we are given the promise that Jesus is always with us – we are never actually alone. When we accept Christ into our lives and hearts, He promised us that His Holy Spirit would fill us. In fact, He told His disciples as He was getting ready to ascent to heaven that very assurance:
Matthew 28:20 – And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
I can only imagine the gift that promise was to the disciples as they watched their Lord and friend rise up in the clouds, likely knowing they wouldn’t see Him again this side of heaven. We get to experience the fullness of that promise today just as much as the disciples did back then. The next time you’re feeling alone, remember that Jesus is with you and that He is always enough.
