Tuesday Truth - Unearned, Unending
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
We live in a world that rewards effort. We earn approval, grades, paychecks, raises through performance. It’s easy to think God works the same way – that if we behave well enough, do enough, or pray hard enough, we will earn His love.
Ephesians 2:8 debunks this belief. Grace is not earned, it’s given. It’s not a reward for the good; it’s a gift for the needy. God isn’t waiting for us to be perfect before He gives us His love. He meets us where we are and offers us forgiveness and relationship as a gift we don’t deserve and could never repay.
And the best news is that this grace isn’t a one-time thing – it’s unending. The same grace that got you through yesterday is still sustaining you today.
