Monday Mission - Grace in the Everyday
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
When we think about grace, we often think of the big moments in life. The time God pulled us out of a dark time, forgiveness after failure, or the birth of a child. John 1:16 reminds us that grace doesn’t just lie on the mountain tops – it’s ever-present in the ordinary.
“Grace upon grace” means it keeps on coming. God’s grace is in the unexpected kindness from a stranger. It’s in the laughter after a long week, in the baby finally sleeping, in the hug from a loved one. God’s grace is the fuel that keeps us going when our energy runs out.
My challenge to you this week is to look for grace upon grace in the ordinary this week.
