Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” He is steadfast and never changes. He is the same God who created the universe, led the Israelites out of Egypt, delivered men from the fiery furnace, performed miracles, and died on the cross for us—and rose again. The same God we read about in Scripture is the same God we can pray to today. He is the same God we can lay our burdens upon, the same God we can ask forgiveness from, and the same God we can turn to for help.
