Three simple words. Yet, for all humans they are perhaps the most powerful and profound.

God created everything. And humans rebelled against a just God. Therefore, God has the right to penalize humans for their rebellion (sin) against Him, our loving creator. 

But God's love is greater than anything. And instead of asking for humans to live "perfect lives" (which, we cannot), or offer "enough" sacrifices (we never could), God made a way for us to be forgiven. It is ONLY by way of God's Son, Jesus Christ. When a human understands their need for forgiveness, acknowledges that it can only come from God, and proclaims Jesus as their Savior, they have been forgiven and can be with God in eternity (heaven). There is no other way. None.

Isn't it great news to know that you are forgiven?

1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Romans 3:23-24 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

Ephesians 1:7 says, "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."
