Tuesday Truths - Embracing Spring After a Season of Wintering
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Devotional by Jenna Finkenhoefer
As I conclude my Wintering season (see my post from yesterday), I’ve been looking ahead with hope for Spring.
I realized today that if Gods message to the world were written as a landscape, it would look exactly like Spring. After the long silent winter, the earth is beginning a season of hope and renewal, or spring.
The sudden bloom of spring serves as a reminder that God delights in making things beautiful in His time—even after the harshest storms. As our grass begins to turn green and we see flowers start to bloom, let it be a prompt to ask: “What is God growing in me right now?”
"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come." — Song of Solomon 2:11-12
