Friday Devotional - “Great Is Your Faithfulness”
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Lamentations 3:22–23 (ESV) “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
1. God’s Faithfulness Doesn’t Change
God is faithful because of who He is—not because we earn it.
Even when we fail, He remains steady.
2 Timothy 2:13 – “If we are faithless, he remains faithful…” God keeps His promises. What He says, He will do. Always.
2. God Has Proven Himself Over Time
From Abraham to today, God’s track record is perfect.
Abraham waited decades for a promise—yet God came through.
Psalm 100:5 – “The Lord is good… his faithfulness continues through all generations.” You and I are part of that legacy. His faithfulness didn’t stop with Bible characters—it continues with us.
3. God’s Faithfulness Is New Every Day
Every morning is a reminder: God isn’t done with us.
No matter what yesterday looked like, His mercy resets today.
“His mercies are new every morning…” (Lamentations 3:23). That’s daily hope, daily strength, daily grace.
God’s faithfulness means you and I can trust Him with today—and tomorrow. He won’t fail us. He never has. He never will.
