Monday Mission - Holy Habits
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Last week, the youth group I work with had the opportunity to discuss habits, either bad habits we need to break or good habits we need to improve on. Building good habits is beneficial to our walk with Christ. Through Christ we can build good or holy habits. Without Christ our sinful nature leads us to paths of destruction and a life that is separated from God and his will for our lives. Romans 7:15-25 explains how Christ can help us do what we want to do, what we know we should do. I challenge you today to think about a habit you want to build, or one you need to break. Ask God to help you with your habits and trust that he will equip you to make those changes.
Here are some suggestions to get you thinking:

Pray frequently throughout the day
Read you Bible rather than scrolling social media
Start a journal - capture what God is teaching you or where you see God at work.
Observe a Sabbath
Get a workout in while listening to some worship music
Stop gossiping
Stop judging other
