Thursday Thoughts - Positivity
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
How have your thoughts changed this week?
On Monday we challenged ourselves to be kinder to ourselves in the ways we think and talk to ourselves.
On Tuesday I shared about the three questions we can use to assess those thoughts:
1. Is it true?
2. Is it helpful?
3. Is it kind?
Today I want to leave you thinking positively and the best way I know to do this is by sharing God's thoughts toward you and each of us. May you find joy in knowing and claiming these truths:
“Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:16-17.
“For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4.
