Great staff. Salad bar was good The pizza I ordered was a little doughy. I didn't like that. Chicken and potatoes were good. Only thing was the pizza. Please cook it maybe a couple more minutes.

The help was awsome. The food was not near as good as other Pizza Ranches. It tasted different somehow. But the place needed a really good cleaning. The fake roof was so thick with dust that I could see it from across the room. The backs of the booths were full of unsightly stains. The place needed some TLC at a minimum or a whole update at best. I was very surprised to have it in that shape in Ames, a college town. We live 18 miles from Ft.Dodge and their Pizza Ranch is the very best one I've been to. After Ft.Dodges the one in Ames was a real let down. It was the last time we will go there.

Person at the front friendly and helpful. Food was fresh even though it was nearing the end of lunch time. Biggest complaint is no one ever went around picking up dirty plates. Sure glad we didn’t give a tip in the beginning when we paid. As a vegetarian, I’d love to see more than canned corn and green beans.
