Greeted with a smile. Asked if I wanted a special pizza made, but was happy with what was offered on the buffet. Chicken was HOT & FRESH & very tender & juicy. A large variety to choose from on all 3 food islands. Even treated myself to a small root beer float to go before leaving, even though i had to have my favorite dessert pizza of blueberry. That finished off a fantastic meal for both myself and my wife. The only thing to improve on is a minor decrease in price for seniors. Overall, VERY satisfied !!

I went online to confirm the store's hours and read that it closed at 9PM. We entered and paid at 7:32PM. Salad bar was half empty, lettuce looked terrible. Chicken was hard as a rock, looked like it had been out there all night? dressing, gravy was 1/3 full and looked terrible also. Asked about a chicken refill and got a "weird" look... took them until 8:15 to get new chicken on the food bar. The whole time we were there no new pizzas were added to the pizza bar. Looked like everyone's main concern was cleaning up and getting out of there. We were asked at 8:20 if we wanted anything else off the food bars and at this point, we just said no, we were done. Very disappointed... we drove all the way from Woodbine, IA to eat there as I had previously lived in Breda, IA and had frequented that store in the past with no problems. We perhaps should have stopped off in Denison, Ia. instead.... I spent $64.53 for a meal for 4 people, 3 of which were upset, one only ate the breadsticks, so she was okay with it. one other thing... we had to pile up our used plates 6-7 high and ended up setting them on an empty table twice, so that we had room to eat before anyone came and collected them. Not a very professional way to operate a restaurant in my opinion. Have a nice day.

Went here today to beat the crowd for Father's day tomorrow. My son is super picky & only eats the French fries. There were no fries today. Laurie overheard our conversation & stopped a tantrum by offering to make fries. She not only made them but delivered a large plate of fries to my son. Thank you for going above & beyond for us. We always have good service here.

I'm sorry but I'm a big fan of pizza ranch but ever since it changed which it should have never happened,the service is very slow, finding a place to seat was horrible, I had to move dishes over to another table that wasn't even cleared to just find a seat,the mashed potatoes were out had to wait for that,no dessert was available just wasn't happy at all especially with it being a special day like Valentine's Day,the only thing that was decent was the people very friendly but the service all the way around in the place is horrible. It may take us awhile before we come back.

After our soccer game last week, we took the team to eat at Pizza Ranch in Carroll. The team had plenty of great pizzas to choose from along with a great salad bar. we reserved a room 2 weeks in advance to find none available. there was a half hour wait for food on any of the food stations, no plates or silverware, and were told that they ran out of dough. not wasting time or money here again

It was awful. There was no food available on the buffet at noon on a Sunday. It took over 10 minutes to fill lettuce in the salad bar. Waited 20 minutes for chicken the ice cream Machine was low mix and no one refilling it. For the amount of money we had to pay for 2 adults and 2 kids I told my kids we will NEVER go back again.

Yeh when I was there a few days ago they didn't keep things filled timely, no selection of dessert pizza, and the ice cream was horrible and flavorless from thw last time I was there. Most was pretty good though. But upset about THAT ice cream!! And the past 2 times have been no good dessert pizzas out...maybe even last 3 times! Shouldn't have to place a special order for it but going to next time!! Also there were no parmesan cheeses out on the table and it took him 15 minutes to remember to bring me one!

Very poor service! We spent $56.00 and had no chicken at all. The salad bar was empty & no server to fill it up at all! There was only 2 pans of pizza available. We took our grandchildren there for lunch today. They had bread sticks, cactus bread & ice cream. How pitiful!! We were very disappointed & upset with this. We will never go back again!

Went in with my husband last week. I have 10+ year of restaurant experience, 2 years of that being general management, I also did 6 years as an event coordinator specifically running buffet lines. The steam tables with the gravy and chicken are NOT UP TO TEMP. Both me and my husband got mild food poisoning from the gravy. Thank goodness we didn’t eat the wings!!! I knew I shouldn’t have eaten it after I told my husband there’s no way the potatoes and gravy were even close to 140. Too bad because we love coming here and have never had issues before. Won’t be back for a good long while. FIGURE OUT THE STEAM TABLE! You’re making people sick!!!!! I also commented this on their Facebook to try to keep it out of their reviews but have not been acknowledged. I normally love this place!!! PLEASE check your steam tables. I want to come back and change my review!
