Guy who was at the front when we walked in at 8 said they are done bringing out food at 9 when online it says you close at 10. He was also upset when my fiancé order her custom pizza when he rang it in while she wasn’t done customizing. Also was upset that we paid cash because he would “need to recount the draw” as if that had anything to do with us.

This is a review from someone who is not a fan of buffets, fast food or chain restaurants. We have been going to the Waukee, IA Pizza Ranch for about 4 years when we moved to the area. This is one of the our go to restaurants. The reason is, the staff is friendly and they keep the buffets stocked with fresh food and it is extremely clean. I have been there when they were extremely busy with a busload of youth sports teams and their families. The staff was keeping Up and knocking it out of the park keeping the buffets fresh and cleaning the tables fast. They still remained helpful and friendly. We are always happy to see John as he greets us every time we are there and makes sure we are having a great experience. The past few times we have been there Lewis and Ben have also been just as helpful, friendly and hard working keeping everything in above satisfactory condition. We have also been there when John was the sole worker and he did an amazing job keeping everything to satisfactory expectation.

I am concerned there was a management change recently. Please convince me otherwise as the quality of the chicken was not up to par and tables were not bussed on a timely basis. I have gone there monthly for several years and always had great food and service.
