I had a chicken breast and it was pink/raw inside. Very few pieces of pieces of pizza of to choose from, 4 empty plates at the serving area with only 3 or 4 pieces left. Dessert area was almost empty. Lettuce was bad looking on one side. I could go on and on! I will never go back to this ranch again.

Let me start by saying I have eaten at just about every Pizza Ranch in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan. I love PR and I genuinely look forward to every visit - with visions of tender, juicy, golden fried chicken dancing in my head! With that said, this visit yesterday to the Bloomington, IL PR was not good. The pizza was not great, the salad bar was not stocked and the chicken was overcooked - dry, stringy and just nasty. On the good side, they do have new beverage dispensers and finally got the original formula soft serve ice cream back. I'm genuinely worried about this PR location as I've seen steady deterioration in food quality since this summer - with last night being a new low point. If the chicken isn't absolutely perfect, then just don't put it out and find someone who can actually brine, bread and cook it properly! As far as pizzas,... Stick to more traditional offerings. The "new" pizza formulas - especially the ones with the nasty sauces drizzled over them - are NOT for mainstream midwest folks. As far as the salad bar, just keep it stocked and clean. On the good side, the service is ALWAYS nice and friendly here and this location finally has gotten new beverage dispensers that actually work AND has gone back to the traditional soft serve "Dairy Queen-like" ice cream formula, not the dreadful "ice milk" stuff they were serving late summer. I will give this location another chance (or two), but be advised - I take my fried chicken very seriously and there are a precious few other Central Illinois restaurants that serve chicken on par with what PR used to deliver and will get my business if things don't improve here. Thank you for your time and please, PLEASE get better!!!

service was good, we were at the drive-thru but did not call ahead it was early evening on a Saturday night. They were busy and got busier as we waited for our order. They were polite apologized for our wait and our order was perfect. Love their chicken and cactus bread.

Good- but not as good as they were before. Pizza was excellent. Chicken was ok. The salad was not very good. Usually, it’s very fresh. But tonight, it was wilted and poor. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Ranch hands have a difficult time keeping chicken on the buffet. We go on Wednesday evening, Senior Day. It’s very busy, so Ranch hands should be prepared! Chicken is the best! Everything else is good!!

In the past I was not very pleased with the food at the time it was cold and the buffet was not even stocked and I stopped going for a while until today when I first went up to the counter Williams was very polite and has been very knowledgeable about what my options are and he made very certain that he made sure my pizza request got out and the meal was was given to me very quickly all the food on that buffet tasted like it was cooked by five chef the buffet had a lot more variety and the food tasted like it just came out of the oven and the staff has been incredibly friendly and people like Williams will be the reason why pizza ranch will be very successful if you had Williams put in charge of multiple restaurants the restaurants will be very successful I’m happy to say I will definitely be a returning customer
