I've been a fan of Pizza Ranch since it first opened on 28th Street several years ago; around the same time that Ruby Tuesdays - the last place in the area with a good salad bar - shut down. It's not just pizza, there is a good selection of food. After my big salad & soup, I have chicken with mashed potatoes & veggies and there usually isn't any room left for pizza! The pizza is good, but their fried chicken is the best in town! My general turn off about buffet-style restaurants is they are rarely kept clean, however Pizza Ranch is always clean. They are very friendly, from the front counter to the managers who check on customers at the tables, to the cooks who come out of the kitchen to refill the buffet. I also like that they play Christian music, but it's not blaring loud, so if that's not your thing it would be easy to tune out. If you go there sign up for their their loyalty card and they take $5 off after so many visits!
