Arrived at 7:30pm. Buffet is open til 8. 4 pieces of chicken and old pizza on buffet. Asked if there was fresh coming out. Cook came out and acted like it was an inconvenience. Then agreed to cook a few legs. Had one plate with some cheese sticks and mashed potatoes. By time I went back for next plate they were already closing off the buffet. And still no fresh pizza or chicken. Left very unhappy.

We are normally very pleased with the service at Pizza Ranch and plays a role in our return. Admittedly, tonight there were a couple of things that happened that were a little unnerving. Not huge things, just didn't sit quite right. The first one was while paying as we first came in, there was a female in the kitchen (that we could not see, only hear) that said, "Jesus Chr*st." As people who love to support Pizza Ranch because of God-honoring atmosphere, it didn't sit right with me. I did not speak up however. And I can only share it was a female, and she sounded younger. The other occurrence was something that bothered my husband. The young man clearing our plates from the table would approach, ask if he could take them, and when my husband said, "Thank you" the young boy with no expression responded, "Yep" as he walked away. We both felt it was an impolite response. But again, not incredibly horrible things, just things that struck us as coming from immature staff, that certainly gave us a different experience from what we are used to.
