I am not one to typically leave a review, but this was a very underwhelming experience. The pizza was alright, some were fresh and others looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. There were lots of tables with dirty plates stacked up waiting to be bussed but no one was around to clean off tables. The buffet ran out of clean plates at one point. Everyone working in there looked incredibly unhappy to be there. I don’t think I will need to return to any Pizza Ranch locations again.

Not worth the price, pizza isn't good, cicis is better and much cheaper, very weird vibe in restaurant, nobody smiling everybody looking miserable and is shows in the food, I have known a few people who have worked here who have terrifying stories of what goes on here, I heard the owner asks the teenage employees to " do extra" not sure what the means but no teenager should be staying after midnight with an owner male or female, not sure if this is relevant, probably not but if you go back on the google reviews people were calling the owner a pedaphile? Just want people to know whats out there, its a scary world.. Always be skeptical of those who try to push god on you as pizza ranch does.

Sunday November 17, I brought my family in after church, this was my first time visiting pizza ranch and it will be my last, it wasn’t crazy busy, stood at the register for 6 minutes before finally I was checked in by a very rude woman, then I asked about the buffet your way and the response I received was “ do you really need a custom we have a buffet? Yes mam I do I have a pizza my children like that isn’t out here, needless to say we waited 45 minutes for a mac n cheese pizza, Overall just not a pleasant experience, heard amazing things about pizza ranch, we actually live in Texas and have nothing like this, but this experience was bad, and as I read the reviews I see I should have read them first, The entire restaurants was dirty, food in carpet, tables dirty, plates stacked up all over, buffet couldn’t keep fresh pizza out and I’m honestly not sure if it’s frozen dough or maybe outdated but the pizza was extremely below average, reminded me of a store bought frozen pizza, ice cream was good, chicken buffet was ok, pasta was dried up and hard and the sauce tasted spoiled, chicken was good but always waiting on it, salad bar was nice, except for the actually salad was empty most of the time we were there, funzone wasn’t worth the money, nice prizes in cut game but rigged impossible to win, many games broke or just wouldn’t work, had to wait 30 minutes to get someone to redeem my sons tickets, buffets like this rarely exist anymore and after this visit I can see why. Beautiful establishment on the outside but extremely poorly ran on the inside, and I’ll be honest it’s kinda pricey for what you receive, I would have spent the same money at a Golden Corral and had a much better experience, I hope you get it together.

They definitely use frozen dough and low quality pizza ingredients, chicken is good, mash potatoes are definitely instant, So I’m not trying to sound negative since I’ve eaten at many pizza ranch locations and honestly the same can be said about the food in all of them, it’s hardly worth the price other than it is all you can eat, that being said, I have never ever been in a pizza ranch location as dirty and misled as the one in Joplin, OMG, far from legendary, wait forever for pizza, nobody watching how long pizza sits on buffet, nobody bussing tables, attempt to speak with George the person in charge only to receive a smile, a nod, and zero action taken, I spent a good portion of my life in the food industry and customer service and when I experience something like the Joplin pizza ranch I assume this place will be closed and for sale and m a short time, it’s a shame that this happens.

Yesterday I was having lunch with my children, must have been approximately 12:45, we were enjoying lunch and another family, 2 woman and a child, anyway they no sooner got there food and sat down and an employee, I believe her name tag said Josie, came over to there table and began yelling and threatening to physically assault them, she then went outside the doors and continued to scream profanities and threats, my children as well as the young child who was being screamed at were shaking scared, this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for anyone especially an employee, my children are now scared to even return to pizza ranch.

We had to bus our own table. The only employee we saw was the cashier. There were at least three tables in our section that were piled with dishes. We just added ours after we realized they were not coming. They had no soup or ice cream, not even the machines. My kids got gluten sensitive pizza which was good! But every other Pizza Ranch we have been at allowed the salad bar for a $20 pizza. Not here!! They also charge extra for drinks which we have never experienced. We will never return to this specific restaurant.
