I thought long and hard about sending this review as I am usually not one to complain! However--we want a positive dining experience with Pizza Ranch! We ate at this location on April 30. We dine here very often and the norm is that the chicken is always hot and well stocked no matter how slammed they are with customers. And Normally, the place is kept clean and plates are cleared etc.as well as all the food is kept fresh and well stocked. On this evening, they were very busy, but tables were not being kept clean. I found us a table and had a Clorox wipe in my purse and cleaned our table off. In the 55 minutes we were there, they only brought out a small batch of chicken twice. VERY disappointing as that is what we go there for! Well, with all the people there-it didn't go very far and probably 95% of the people there got no chicken. SO, NOT getting what we all paid for with this buffet!! We had quit dining at the Papillion, NE location because they just never brought out chicken! And the other food was not stocked as well along with never being a clean place to dine at! Workers there were never very pleasant when you asked for the food that was out. We talked to the manager and his excuse was he didn't have the good "fryers"-they were at the 84th St location in Omaha! In other words he didn't have good employees. I would think he, or Pizza Ranch, would make sure the employees are trained in the kitchen on food prep. All they would have had to do was make some chicken! It doesn't take an hour to make it! Most often we never got chicken when we dined there. We weren't surprised when they closed. To our dismay, the assistant manager on April 30 was the former manager of the Papillion location! I do hope that corporate pays attention to this because the 84 ST has ALWAYS been an excellent location to dine at--kept clean and all the food--chicken, pizza, salad bar, and desserts well stocked no matter how busy they were! Please do not let a poor manager run this location into the ground and ruin the business that has been built up here for a positive experience! It has always been busy when we have gone and always good! The only other location in this area is in Council Bluffs, IA and that is too far to go on a regular basis! We dine at Pizza Ranch on 84th St at least once a week or every other week at the very least! We will go back and hope and pray it is a good experience. We would HATE to not have a good and reliable Pizza Ranch to dine at!
