VERY DISAPPOINTING for our second time back since your reopening. Our understanding was that customers were to use the hand sanitizer before each trip at the buffet tables, and to also use the gloves with each trip. Also, to use different glasses for each trip at the soda fountains.
A group of 15 came in at the same time as we did, where I overheard 11 adults and 4 children. The place was VERY busy, with many tables filled, or needing cleaning as the last customers had left, and the tables had not as yet been bused. This being the case, when an elderly woman couldn't find a clean table, she decided to move the 2 soda cups and what other remains were there from the last customer, as she wanted to sit somewhere.... anywhere. I told her to hold on, and went to find an employee, which was not that easy in doing. Putting the little bell or the doorbell button back at the cashier area would be ideal. We like others, waited several minutes for someone to even come greet us when we came in. Having finally see someone bring some fresh food out, I caught her attention and asked if tables can be bused, starting with the 2 top where this elderly woman was standing.
In the course of the hour plus we were there, we witnessed far too many people going to the buffet tables, NOT using the sanitizer, or gloves, and taking their used soda glasses back up to the soda fountain to refill them, sometimes both of these right in front of employees. As we started watching more, we started seeing where people were going right from the register, to their tables, then go up and get food and drink, never using the sanitizer or gloves.
So much for any guidelines. I am unsure whether the people at the cash registers were even informing anyone what was necessary? I know we were not informed, but being the second time there in 7-8 days, maybe the employee figured we did not need being told again, remembering us being there the week prior. Not even sure of that? With myself being a more compromised health person than my friend, I am only glad that I usually take everything I will eat on my first trip, with a plate of pizza, another with chicken and hot foods, then soups. My friend with me however, usually does 2-3 trips to the buffet tables.
But this was just something so disappointing to see in both the customers, and the employees not saying anything when walking right past people at the buffet tables not wearing the gloves.
