So, like I always do, I ordered a speciality pizza when we arrived - chicken broccoli Alfredo, along with some teriyaki chicken. It took a good 20-30 min before one of the young servers came to tell us the pizza was on the buffet. I asked if they no longer brought the pizza to the table, and she answered, “No, with quarantine and COVID, we’re not allowed to bring the pizza to the table anymore.”
Ok - no biggie, we went to the buffet and got the pizza.
A little bit later, another server approached the table across from us with one of their special order pizzas and plates and proceeded to serve them. Hmmm - ok. I thought “quarantine and COVID” prevented that from happening. A few minutes later, the SAME server who had told us that she couldn’t bring the pizza to the table took another pizza to the same table and proceeded to serve them what they wanted of the pizza and took the rest to the buffet.
SOOOO..... what is the rule? Can special order pizzas be served to the tables or not? I certainly understand having different rules now. However, if you’re going to change your service rules, you dang well need to be consistent with how you apply them and not pick and choose who you are willing to serve and who you’re not.........
