In this political season and throughout our culture, there has been more division than ever. Whether it be in regards to policy, reforms, or COVID 19 everywhere you turn their is constant disagreement and unrest. And while there is so much that divides, there is one thing that has and always will remain - Jesus is above it all. He is our rock, shelter, and savior. Paul in his letter to the Galations says:

"28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

This week, look for opportunity to unite, to build one another up in the hope that is Jesus Christ. Put aside your differences, and realize that each person - democrat or republican, citizen or immigrant is a son or daughter of God. If you look at the world through this lens, you will find an overwhelming peace and spread love that unites.
