What does it mean to be thankful? For most, being thankful is easy when times are good, but during trials and hardships it seems that their is nothing to be grateful for. It is far easier to be mad or bitter towards God or your circumstances. One thing that will never change is God's gift of grace, the gift of eternal life by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In all things we have this comfort and for this we can always be thankful.

So whether this year has been filled with ups or downs, know that we all have the same gift and assurance to be thankful for.
