Food was great on this visit. Chicken was tender, broasted potatoes were cooked perfectly, and Taco pizza was great. However there wasn't any desserts at the time we were there. That was disappointing. But overall very pleased.

While I will say that this pizza ranch specifically has given me very few problems this one that I’ve experienced today will probably stand in my memory whenever I go to one in the future, I arrived at 9:28 PM and the specific branch closes at 10 PM. I’m not sure about other pizza ranches, but I have not been to one where it is common place to close and lock the doors and refuse customer service 30 minutes before closing. I totally understand if you’re having a long day working in a customer service related environment like pizza ranch, but 30 minutes before your established closing time is completely unreasonable. I was going through some very personal family related incidents and one of the people involved has a comfort food that is sold at Pizza Ranch. The Altoona branch was closed a whole half hour before their closing time. The doors were locked. The employees looked at me, checked something and then shook their heads and walked away from the door. It looked like they were well into their closing activities all this to say that this specific branch in Altoona is not the best place to go if you have schedule conflicts and will be late to arrive.

First time in years coming to Pizza Ranch that we were all around disappointed in our visit. Not much selection in pizzas and what was there was dried out. No selection for dessert pizzas, they were under same lighting as regular pizzas, dried out and crust was hard. Cookie was brought out and upon taking a piece didn’t look fully cooked, but upon sitting on my plate it finished cooking. Ice cream was good. No plates were picked up from our table all the time we were there. The people next to us left and their plates, etc. we’re still there when we left. We noticed too a sign by cash register that we would be charged a fee for non cash transactions. Who carries that much cash around if taking family out to eat? We will give them another chance.

We ordered pizza on Saturday evening. We were told about 30 mins and when arrived the person working the drive thur greeted us cheerfully. Our pizza was ready and the gentleman told us we had rewards we could use. The overall experience with this employee gives me hope that customer service is still out there it’s just not as common as it use to be. He was very joyful and over great person to work with. We will be coming back more often and some of your competition I will not ever call again. Make sure he gets a pat on the back for a job well done!
