Pizza Ranch Altoona

First ever disappointing order with Altoona Pizza Ranch. I had our daughter pick up a pizza pack (pizza, cheesy stix, cactus bread). She dropped it off and went home. We opened the pizza and found not a thin crust Texan but a regular crust hamburger/red onion. I had her call in to get a correction. We were told we could come and get a corrected pizza or get a ten dollar credit for future. I was not going to ask my 73 year old husband to go out again after working all day for early voting. It was late and we were tired. I have not seen any compensation. Disappointed!

We stopped patronizing this particular Pizza Ranch a few years ago because of cleanliness issues and lack of fresh made food. We decided to give it another try since it's close to our house. That was a mistake. While the staff was friendly and helpful they still have cleanliness issues and again the food, especially the pizza and desserts, looked like they had been sitting out for quite a while. The chicken was either over or under cooked and we had to ask for chicken legs. The floor needed a good vacuuming. We weren't there during rush hour either, there were only two other people there. We will go back to Pizza Ranch in Ankeny or Waukee from now on.

Food was dried out on the hot food. Said they wood bring out fresh but didn't see that happen. Terrible birthday dinner. We were in Indianola. Everything you send me days Altoona

Great customer service! The salad needs checked before put out, it was slimy and brown pieces in it. I didn't get the email about kids eat free through the 14th until after our visit, could have used it that day, the other food was great!!

The young man running the register, checking on guests and the buffet was very attentive, driven and passionate about his work. His kindness spilled over to his fellow employees. Service was prompt, buffet well stocked and restaurant was clean for being busy.

No tables cleaned off when we arrived. I had to clear a table myself. one of the wings I picked was so hard I could not bit into it. Way overcooked. Desert pizze was absent again. I always suggest somewhere else but keep giving it a try. I think I'm finally done.

Food was replenished nicely even tho they were busy.

Our group meets every other Tuesday and the customer service really is outstanding

Food was as good as always. Price is becoming prohibitive.

We love buffets! They are pretty much the only one that does that. Good food and people.

Fully stocked buffet and the new caprese salad pizza is great.

The food was great. Always enjoy eating at Pizza Ranch.

Everything was great except the Pizza was So HOT I couldn't eat it! A little of that sauce would have been ok but it was swimming in it. Tossed it out, you need to put a burn warning on the box.

Chicken was too done

It was fine. I do have a question though, why have only forks by the ice cream??

Great customer service; but the green beans, mashed potatoes and other potatoes were cold.
