Always delicious food / best fried chicken in town 😋Heather was very helpful picking up our plates for 18 of us!!That is all!!

It was great customer service. Probably the best we ever had! The gentleman taking the money gave us the discounts you offer, my $5 reward and took a special pizza order with no hesitation. The woman waiting on us seemed like management and may have been. She did a fantastic job removing plates and getting my special order. Then I asked if they would be having the cookie at the lunch buffet and next thing you know she is bringing one to the table. Super nice and very professional. Exceptional lunch. I hate that I do not remember their names.

Wonderful chicken and service

Normally chicken is the best in KC. Today the skin was soggy, far from crisp. The chicken was rubbery. I couldn't even bite a piece off, I had to tear it off. I didn't eat it. Bad chicken today. Pizza was ok.

Food was good, everything was replenished quickly. Lady was great about picking up our dirty dishes since there was 6 adults an 3 kids in our party.great place to eat, I love the salad bar.

The front register person was nowhere to be seen for a handful of minutes, and was rushing the transaction; did not give directions on where the cups were or anything / took my money and handed me a receipt and then turned and walked to the back again.
Pricing is way too high - especially for one person on a weekday at lunch! $16? Ouch!
The buffet is lacking - I was just at the Emporia location three weeks ago and it was AWESOME, made me crave it again, but then this location (Independence) didn’t live up to my expectations. (The lack of variety in the salad bar and pizzas, as well as the lack of stocked utensils/condiments contributed greatly to this.)
The two staff ladies who were stocking the buffet and bussing tables were very kind and on top of their jobs - they deserve praise and raises!
And the patrons (many of them regulars) were nice to be around/created a safe environment. I even saw the manager make a special trip to sit with a few of the regulars for a bit and chat - I can appreciate that kind of manager!
I will praise this location on making sure they had enough dessert pizza variety and cookies and kept them stocked the whole time I was there - not an easy task! Nice job!

TLDR: It wasn’t the best or the worst.

{FYI: I visited from 12p-2pm on a week day. There was at most 20-30 people in the entire place.}

There was not a variety of pizzas out. And no chicken breasts. The last 2 times we have been there, there is nothing but cheese pizza.

Brought my Aunt for the first time. She loved the chicken

We waited 45 minutes for dessert and no chocolate chip at that. Salad bar good. Food great good good selection of pizza.

Always clean. Great customer service. Food above average every time. Always fresh.

Good service from our table server. Cost of the bill for three people makes me question the amount paid vs. the value of the food and drink and if $16.89 per person is worth what we get. Also, disappointed that the ice cream machine was not working. Food was good and the pizza buffet was kept stocked, for a change. Overall, we like Pizza Ranch and will go back.

Did not refresh items very often while we were there. Chicken pieces small and greasy. Ice cream machine broken. Not enough staff to keep tables clean.

Food is good - ice cream machine seems to be broke down quite a bit = women's bathroom needs to get 2nd lavatory repaired- it has been down for quite some time.

Good environment friendly staff.
