Last week we talked about how God empowers, strengthens and uses all those who claim Jesus as Lord and Savior. Today we see that He’ll also use us to share Christ with others. God will use you and I to further His Kingdom. The opportunities are all around us. We don’t have to worry about what we say because He’ll give us the perfect words with the help of the Holy Spirit. We may be afraid, not want to offend, or any other excuse we might come up with. But, we need to take that step when feeling the nudge to do so! Even if you hear yourself saying one thing, that other person will only hear what God has for them.

Acts 3:11-26 shows Peter referring to the Scriptures when he’s acting on the nudge. We also know that Jesus and other apostles referenced Scriptures. Of course it’s good to know the bigger picture of what the Bible says…along with some specifics. Here’s a few to know:

1. Old Testament – Points to the coming Messiah…Jesus.
2. New Testament – Talks about the Messiah…Jesus….and the work He began and continues for eternity.
3. How to share about Jesus – Called the 4 Spiritual Laws
   1. God Loves us – John 3:16
   2. There’s sin and separation between God and man – Romans 3:23
   3. Jesus Christ is the answer to that problem. Jesus bridges that gap - Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-6
   4. We must receive Him individually. It’s a free gift – John 3:1-8, John 1:12, Revelation 3:20

God chooses normal, everyday sinners like you and me to tell and show others the way. May we find ways then to fit His Word into our lives. And may we trust the Holy Spirit to help our words become His.
