We've been going through the Book of Acts here at the Pizza Ranch Support Center.

Today we're going to look at one of the characters from Acts 6 & 7, Stephen, and how he was asked to fill a need in the church. He saw to the needs of many and started out by helping people with their physical needs, but ended up ministering to their spiritual needs by doing wonders and miraculous signs. His job put him in a position to make a difference in the lives of others. He proved to show himself faithful in the face of persecution and death. Read his story in Acts 6:8-7:60.

The story of Stephen reminds us to be faithful in our positions too. We can be used to make a difference in the people around us. There isn't separation between our jobs and our faith, they are intertwined together. We are called to serve Christ. May we each be found to be faithful in what and where God has us.
