Thursday Thought- Is it more difficult to heal than forgive?
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Have you ever stopped and thought about what Jesus is asking us in this story of how he healed a man who was paralyzed?
9 Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?
Is it because we believe more what we see physically than spiritually?
Is it because we don't believe there is a God who forgives sins?
Is it because we value our earthly health more than our spiritual health?
Is it because Jesus wanted to show that eternity is more important than temporary?
Read the passage and consider what Jesus is asking us today.
