Wisdom is written 227 times in the Bible - and about 40% are in Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job. God's words encourage us to pursue wisdom. So much in life is fleeting but the fear of the Lord and wise application of His teachings will lead us on straight paths in step with the Holy Spirit.
13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
