“God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supplies.” –Hudson Taylor

Hudson Taylor was a missionary to China in the 19th century. The missionary societies he founded through his work are credited with bringing more than 800 missionaries to China, starting 125 schools, and impacting over 18,000 conversions to Christianity. Taylor was known for confidently trusting that God would provide a way for the Lord's work to be done.

Take confidence in these verses assuring you that the Lord will provide for your needs as you serve in his Kingdom:

"So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. " Matthew 6:31-33

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." -2 Corinthians 9:8

"The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." - Psalm 34:10
